Grisey @ Acht Brücken

The prestigious Acht Brücken Festival invites SDH to perform Gérard Grisey’s percussion classic Le Noir de L’Étoile. This composition for a percussion sextet was created in 1989 and needs to follow very exact rules by the composer. The audience must be surrounded by the musicians so the listener is immersed in the sounds, as if it comes from outerspace. This effect will be amplified by the use of a pulsar.
